The 2008 Frost & Sullivan Technology Leadership Award is presented to Computerized Screening Inc. (CSI) in recognition of its leadership and vision in patient monitoring in the emerging remote monitoring kiosk market for community-based or population health disease management applications. CSI’s numerous years of leading the public kiosk space has given the company vital experience in this model of vital signs monitoring. By entering this health and disease management space with the CSI Genesis Managed Health unattended clinic and remote medication management system, CSI can leverage its expertise to capitalize on unique market conditions and end-user needs in this dynamic space.
June 2007 National Guard Bureau Awarded Contract
After nine months of investigation into blood pressure monitoring equipment, the National Guard Bureau awarded Computerized Screening, Inc. (CSI) a contract for the purchase of Health Station Kiosks to be placed in each of their National Guard units throughout the United States and its territories. CSI has the only FDA Medically Certified Blood Pressure Kiosk (Health Station) on the market, and the purchase of these systems coincides with the National Guard's "Decade of Health Initiative" (www.decadeofhealth.com). 2007 is the second year of this Initiative with the topic being Blood Pressure Awareness.
Committed to providing the National Guard with the education to make informed health decisions, CSI Health Stations provide valuable health information and allow individuals to monitor their blood pressure and weight as well as other vital information in order to maintain and even improve health.
June 2006 Computerized Screening, Inc, has been recommended for certification to ISO 13485:2003
Computerized Screening, Inc, has been recommended for certification to ISO 13485:2003 by its notified body, Det Norske Veritas Certifications, Inc. (DNV). ISO 13485:2003, for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is an internationally recognized quality systems standard for medical device manufacturers.
ISO 13485:2003 represents certification to international quality systems standards that will allow Computerized Screening, Inc. to apply for CE marking required for distribution of Computerized Screening, Inc. manufactured products in Europe. Additionally, it is a standard that is required for product registrations in many other international markets including Canada, Australia and Japan.
